An interdisciplinary noise rock performance, Plant Me Here is lead by BRAT Productions' Resident Artist Emma Arrick. We ask the question "how can we be happy when we are all going to die?" Through a series of vocal/ electronic soundscapes, Plant Me Here grasps at the absurdity of mortality.

Plant Me Here

In the spring of 2015, we’re going way off the deep end with our Resident Artist Emma Arrick’s project Plant Me Here, an immersive, interdisciplinary noise musical based off of the poetry(and life--sort of) of Philadelphia playwright Jason Rosenberg. Plant Me Here is an evening of sloppy magical realism that asks the viewer to vilify the body and find the beauty in horror. Breathtaking musical numbers, a full pizza eaten on stage in real time, a curated visual art gallery for a set, footie pajamas, and a whole bunch of christmas lights combine to a truly .unforgettable experience that you have to see to believe.
